Experience
I have been teaching for eight years; all in the high school history classroom. I am originally from Southern California and have taught in San Bernardino, Palm Springs, and Los Angeles. I completed my student teaching at Pacific High School in San Bernardino during which I received my California Teaching Credential. I landed my official first teaching job at Rancho Mirage High School in Palm Springs Unified where I taught World History, US History, and AP Human Geography. Lastly, I just ended my tenure at Loyola High School of Los Angeles; an all-boys Jesuit private school in downtown LA. While at Loyola I taught AP World History and AP Government. I also sat on the Faculty Senate, advised Junior State of America, was head coach of the Speech & Debate team and coached shot put and discus.
